What do I need to run him?
An iPhone or iPad. Quackers is an app — many families set up an old iPad on the kitchen counter as his full-time home. If you can charge it, he can live on it.
Is this a robot?
No — no hardware, ever. Quackers lives on a screen you already own.
What about privacy?
Quackers only listens when asked, shows you everything he remembers, and truly forgets what you tell him to forget. Nothing is shared with family unless the person he lives with says so. The engine behind him is open source — you can read exactly how he works.
